2GIG Encrypted Extended Long Range Door / Window Sensor
The 2GIG Encrypted Extended Long Range Door / Window Sensor is designed to monitor doors, windows, and other openings as part of a compatible 2GIG Edge security system. This sensor helps detect when a protected opening is opened or closed and sends that signal to the alarm panel for security monitoring, chime notifications, and alarm response.
This sensor is part of the 2GIG E+ extended range sensor line, offering secure encrypted communication and extended wireless range for larger homes, businesses, detached areas, and locations where standard wireless sensors may not provide the best coverage.
2GIG Edge Compatibility Only
This sensor is only compatible with the 2GIG Edge panel. The 2GIG Edge panel must be running firmware version 1.3 or later for this E+ extended range sensor to be supported.
This sensor is not compatible with older 2GIG GC2, GC2e, GC3, GC3e, Honeywell/Resideo 5800 Series panels, Qolsys panels, or other non-Edge alarm systems.
Designed for Door and Window Protection
This wireless contact is designed to monitor the opening and closing of protected entry points. When the door or window opens, the magnet separates from the sensor and sends a signal to the 2GIG Edge panel, allowing the system to respond based on the programmed zone settings.
Encrypted Extended Range Communication
The encrypted extended range design helps provide secure wireless communication between the sensor and the 2GIG Edge panel. This makes it a strong option for larger properties, hard-to-reach openings, detached structures, garage doors, storage rooms, and other locations where improved wireless range may be needed.
