The shipping carrier used for your order is selected at the discretion of our shipping department based on the order, delivery location, and available shipping options. HDSS may ship orders using FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
Yes, customers may choose a preferred shipping carrier during checkout when available. However, selecting a specific carrier does not qualify for Free Ground Shipping.
If you choose your own shipping carrier, the shipping cost will be calculated based on the order size, weight, destination, and selected shipping method.
If a package is lost during transit, HDSS will open a case with the shipping carrier to investigate the shipment. Once the carrier completes the investigation and provides a resolution, HDSS may send replacement equipment or issue a refund based on the outcome of the claim.
Refunds or replacements will not be issued until the shipping carrier has completed its investigation and the claim has been resolved.
Once the shipping carrier marks a package as delivered, it is the customer’s responsibility to retrieve and secure the package in a timely manner. HDSS Store is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or missing after confirmed delivery.
If a delivered package is stolen, the customer may be able to file a claim through their homeowner’s insurance, renter’s insurance, or local authorities, depending on the situation.
Please contact our customer service immediately in that scenario so we can file a claim with the shipping carrier.
A signature may be required for orders over a certain value, expedited shipments, or other orders determined by HDSS or the shipping carrier.
In some cases, the delivery driver or carrier may also require a signature at their discretion. Customers may request signature-required delivery before the order ships, and HDSS can add this option when available.
